Toronto Weekend Events Listing for May 27 - 29, 2016
We finally have a hot weekend in our future and I for one am going to get out enjoy it. There are plenty of fun events happening around Toronto, including one of my favourite annual events - Doors Open! Here are my top picks for fabulous events and happenings in Toronto this weekend:
Lifestyle:
One of my favourite Toronto events, Doors Open Toronto takes place Saturday and Sunday. Get an insider's look into some of Toronot's most historical and strange buildings.
North America's largest dog festival, Woofstock, takes place both Saturday and Sunday at Woodbine Park.
Pedestrian Sundays in Kensington Market is back! Enjoy buskers, vendors and food without having to look both ways while crossing the street!
Exhibits & Culture:
The Christie Pits Art Crawl takes place on Sunday. Over 60 vendors will be set up during the day, so there will be something for everyone.
Check out The Deliberately Ambiguous exhibition at The Harbourfront Centre before it ends in a few weeks.
Music & Theatre:
With the beautiful weather forecast for tomorrow, it would be the perfect day to head on down to Echo Beach for The CBC Music Festival.
Food & Drink:
I love cider, especially in the summer. So you will catch me at The Appleseed Cider Festival taking place at Wychwood Barns on Sunday. Yum!
Shopping:
Trinity Bellwoods Flea happens again this Saturday. Expect the usual fashion and unique finds as well as cocktails, retro music and oysters!
P.s!: Many of the museums and galleries in Toronto are participating in Doors Open Toronto, which means free admission!
P.s,
Melanie!
