Toronto Weekend Events Listing For Easter Long Weekend 2016

It's that wonderful time again - Long Weekend! And even though the weather has turned cold again, there are many events and happenings across Toronto to celebrate one of Canadian's favourite moments - long weekends!

Here are my top picks for fabulous events and happenings happening in Toronto this weekend:

Lifestyle:
Toronto Beaches Easter Parade is celebrating it's 50th anniversary this Sunday. Enjoy floats, marching bands, and chocolate at one of the only Easter parades in Toronto.

The Allan Gardens Spring Show is in full bloom and runs until this weekend. It's a perfect weekend to see the beautiful flowers  and tropical plants while staying warm inside the glass dome.

Exhibits & Culture:
It's the last weekend to enjoy the amazing Howard Podeswa: A Brief History at Koffler Gallery. If you haven't visited, make sure you make time this weekend - it is a must-see!

Theatre & Music:
The New Ideas Festival ends this Sunday. Enjoy a full lineup of performances including new writings, works-in-progress, and experimental drama.

Food & Drink:
The Brewers Backyard Beer Festival takes place today at Evergreens Brick Works. It is open to all ages, but only 19+ can drink.

Shopping:
Looking for some unique gifts for yourself or someone else? The One of a Kind Show is running until Sunday at The Enercare building in Exhibition Place.
