My Style: Seeing Red!

California Moonrise Cardigan, Aldo Purse, & Town Shoes Boots Casual Valentine's Day Outfit

Valentine's Day is almost here! I'm not to excited about the actual day but I'm a big fan of dressing for the occasion/event/holiday. So if it's Valentine's Day, it's easy to celebrate the day by adding some splashes of red, without going overboard into 'lovey-dovey sappy' land.

I decided to embrace by inner love child and came up with a casual Valentine's Day look by adding a few key accessories in the bright red hue.

Red is so not my colour. It doesn't look good with my hair and it doesn't compliment my skin tone at all. But I love these red boots from Town Shoes. Not only do I love the style, but the deep red colour is far enough from my face, that it doesn't clash with my skin tone. And they are so comfortable! The Aldo purse is just so fun; there are so many different shades of red that it's ok to clash. I paired both these pieces with a fabulous California Moonrise cardigan that can be worn different ways and a cute t-shirt from H&M.

 

I love how this outfit turned out. It's perfect for a casual day outing with your significant other or friends.
