Respect the Agave Tequila Cocktail Battle Event Preview & A Chance to Win Tickets

Start your Christmas holiday week off right with a tequila battle royale! It's going down December 21 at Addisons downtown Toronto and hosted by Siempre Tequila. The event is the first of a nation-wide series of tequila-only bartender competitions.

Local bartenders bring their own tools, ingredients and flair, but also have to use the secret ingredients in their 'black box' which can only be opened seconds before the competition!

The tequila, sweat and tears will be flowing freely as bartenders compete two a time and only have 20 minutes to create their masterpiece cocktails as well as entertain the crowd. And to make it even more intense, Master Tequilier Manny Contreras will be on site making sure everything runs smoothly. He's one of only 500 tequila masters in the world and the only one living in Canada.

As a select panel of judges, including Maestro Fresh Wes and Cassie Stewart, are sampling and making the final decisions, DJ Young Mase will be keeping the party going pumping out the beats. And I can't forget to mention the fabulous gourmet menu created by UCC Founder Chef Joe Friday that will be available for a great price.

The battle begins at 7pm and tickets are available for $15 or $20 at the door. Please note this is a 21+ event. I hope to see you there!
