Happening Weekend: Lights, Camera, Christmas!

Toronto Weekend Events Listing for December 11 - 13, 2015

It's that time again - the weekend. There are not many left for 2015 - 2 more after this one, so try to enjoy them while you can before the new year and cold weather comes.

Here are my top picks for weekend happenings and events in Toronto:

Lifestyle:
The 3rd Annual Creative Minds Collective happens tonight at The Tennessee. Enjoy a great lineup of music and spoken word with some great unique shopping opportunities. There's no cover but they will be accepting donations for Lifeline Syria.

The HoHoTO Benefit Party takes place tonight which brings together those from the digital community for some well deserved merriment. Proceeds go to the YWCA Girl's Centre.

Culture & Exhibits:
Enjoy the free and amazing art installations at The Power Plant Gallery and then walk along the waterfront and take in the beautiful Spectacle of Lights.

Food & Drink:
Gladstone Hotel's 12 Beers of Christmas is happening on Saturday. Put on your ugliest Christmas Sweater for an all-you-can-taste beer night filled with music by local DJs and bands.

Foodie Holiday Pop-Up is the perfect place to pick up a gift for some of your foodie friends and family. This one market takes place on Saturday at Artscape Sandbox from 10am to 5pm.

Shopping:
Union Station Holiday Market is still happening at, you guessed it, Union Station. This is a great place to pick up some unique Christmas gifts as well as help local businesses and artists.

This Saturday is the holiday edition of The Bellwoods Flea Market - It's a Bellwoods Flea Holiday Market. As always in edition to food vendors and local artisans there will be a chance to play some retro video games or catch a screening of a movie.

This Sunday The Winter Folk Fair takes place at St. Vladimir Institute. Workshops and unique vendors are among the highlights.

P.s!: Don't forget to check out the Christmas Flower Show at Allan Gardens, it's amazing and free!

P.s,
Melanie!
