Happening Weekend: Art, Wine & Shopping!

Toronto Weekend Events Listing for November 20 - November 22, 2015

I'm so excited it's the weekend. With all my jobs  getting busier with the impending holiday season (yes all - I have 6), the weekends are becoming more filled with a variety of lists. If you haven't crossed of everyone on your Christmas gift list, this weekend is perfect to start your holiday shopping (there are only 5 weekends left before the big day). And if you get your To Do list completed, there are plenty of art events and happenings in Toronto this weekend to keep you busy.

Here are my top picks for fabulous events and fun things to do in the city:

Culture & Exhibits:Toronto's newest art collective, Toronto Studio Commons is hosting it's first ever Studio Crawl. Get a peek at a variety of art studios, workshops, and art fairs throughout Toronto. Many will be hosting special events, exhibitions and demonstrations. This amazing event starts today, November 20 and runs until Sunday.

The Power Plant Gallery is hosting three free art exhibitions including Black Cloud, 2007/2015 by Carlos Amorales. There are free tours and a speaker series offered almost every weekend.

Food & Drink:
The 21st annual Gourmet Food and Wine Expo began yesterday at The Metro Toronto Convention Centre and runs until Sunday. Enjoy tutored tastings, cooking demos, speakers, and entertainment.

Shopping:
Toronto Art Crawl Christmas Market takes place this Sunday at The Great Hall on Queen Street West. Shop the many local vendors as well as enjoy some food with a DJ spinning tunes.

The Really Really Free Market heads to North York on Saturday. Drop off unwanted items and take home a new found treasure. For Free. For Serious.

Toronto Christmas Market starts Friday and runs until December 20 at The Distillery District. Because of the massive crowds from previous years, there will be a $5 admission price on the weekends this year (so go tonight:)

Trintiy Bellwoods Flea happens again this Saturday. Expect your usual and unique finds as well $5 mimosas!

P.s!: With Christmas fast approaching, there are pop up markets happening across the city. Check out blogTO's great list of popups

P.s,
Melanie!
