Happening Weekend: Last Summer Hurrah!

Toronto Weekend Events Listing for September 18 - 20, 2015

It is the last weekend of summer, so get out there and enjoy some of the amazing events taking place across Toronto!

Here are my top picks for events and happenings in the city!:

Lifestyle:
North America's largest Ukrainian Street Festival takes place this Saturday and Sunday in the Bloor West Village. Join hundreds of thousands of visitors and sample the best of Ukrainian music, food, and culture.

And not too far away, The Polish Festival is happening in Roncesvalles. Enjoy polish food, drink, music, and much more all weekend long.

Exhibits & Culture:
Try to see some films or celebs during the last weekend of TIFF!

It's the last weekend to visit the amazing Picturing the Americas exhibit at the AGO. Don't miss out on this fabulous exhibition which has inspired my next travel adventure!

Canada's largest and longest running outdoor art fair takes place this weekend at Nathan Phillips Square. Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition (TOAE) begins today and runs until Sunday showcasing over 350 artist's work.

Food & Drink:
The first ever Toronto Food & Wine Festival starts today. Head over to the Evergreen Brickworks to sample the best of food and wine (duh)!

Toronto's largest Oktoberfest party is happening this Friday and Saturday at Ontario Place. Be prepared for alot of lederhosen and beer!

And not to be outdone, Steam Whistle is holding their own Oktoberfest party on Saturday at their brewery. Enjoy lots of German food, music, and fun!

Toronto Beer Week starts today and runs until Saturday September 26. There are events happening every day across the city. Check their site for a daily schedule.

Music:
TURF comes to Historic Fort York with some cool indie rock bands. I love attending events at Fort York.

Riot Fest is taking place at Downsview Park with a few bigger musical names and an impressive lineup.

Manifesto Festival started Wednesday and runs until Sunday. There are many arts and culture events taking place with a free concert happening at Yonge-Dundas Square on Saturday.

P.s!: This is the last weekend of summer so make the most of it! The first day of Fall is Wednesday!

P.s,
Melanie!
