Happening Weekend: Supermoon, Super Dogs & Super Beer!

Toronto Weekend Events Listing for September 25 - 27, 2015

It's the first weekend of Fall, and the weather outside in perfect for some great events and happenings across Toronto (fingers crossed:) I know my calendar is jammed packed this weekend!


Here are my top picks for fabulous events and happenings in the city!:

Lifestyle:
Laugh until you cry at the Just For Laughs Festival that started Thursday. This great events has plenty of shows and performances and runs until October 3.

North America's largest outdoor festival for dogs takes places at Woodbine Park this weekend. Enjoy free admission, contests, competitions of the four-legged variety at Woofstock.

The David Suzuki Foundation's Homegrown Park Crawl takes place this Sunday. Both Trinity Bellwoods Park (noon-2pm) and Christie Pits (3pm-6pm) will be hosting free entertainment and more!

It's the second last PS Kensington Sunday this weekend. Enjoy street entertainment and food without dodging traffic!

Exhibits & Culture:
Culture Days, a three-day cultural celebration begins today and runs until Sunday with a host of activities and events across the city!

The Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery is hosting a free party tonight celebrating their Fall 2015 exhibitions.

Food & Drink:
Celebrate Oktoberfest at Gladstone Hotel this Saturday. Enjoy the usual German fare and drink!

One of my favourite events this weekend is the Toronto Cider Festival. This delicious festival takes place at Dundas Square with over 14 participating breweries on Saturday.

P.s!: This Sunday night there is going to be a full supermoon lunar eclipse, which hasn't happened since 1982.
