It's the last weekend for several exhibitions in the city. Deep Woods at Harbourfront, Erratics at Koffler Art Gallery and Gertrude Kearns: The Art of Command at Fort York all end on Sunday. Join Kearns as she will be giving a tour of her exhibit on Sunday at 2pm!
Music:
Bestival will be taking over Toronto Island for the first time with an impressive lineup of musical acts on Saturday.
Illumination Music and Arts Festival takes over The Cage 292 for two days!
Food & Drink:
Ontario Craft Beer Week kicks off this Saturday with Session Craft Beer Fest at Yonge-Dundas Square! Enjoy live music, food, and of course beer!
Bubble Battle |
There seems to be a block party every weekend and this weekend is no exception. This Friday enjoy all that the Yonge-Gerrard neighbourhood has to offer at the first ever Yonge & Gerrard Block Party.
And then head over to the Annex on Sunday for the Annex Family Fest which will feature fun and entertainment for the whole family!
If you're a violent pacifist than Bubble Battle is right up your alley! Enjoy epic showdowns with random strangers using bubbles. Yes bubbles.
And if you are looking to do battle with something harsher than bubbles, join the Toronto Water Gun Fight taking place at Yonge-Dundas Square on Sunday!
Beat to many drums at Muhtadi International Druming Festival over at Woodbine Park both Saturday and Sunday.
Shopping:
The Parkdale Flea Market is happening again this Sunday on the west side.
And over on the east side The Beaches Arts and Crafts Show is taking place on Saturday, in support of local artists.
