Winners Stripe Dress & Vero Moda Floral Kimono Outfit

I know it doesn't seem like it but Spring is almost here (I promise)!!! And a fabulous way to get over the winter blahs and feel renewed and excited about the new upcoming season is a fabulous new outfit in a fabulous fun pattern!

Mixing up patterns in an outfit is a great way to create a unique and fun look. And nothing says 'Spring is here' like florals!

I found this amazing Vero Moda floral poncho on clearance at Hudson's Bay. It's a great find and will look amazing with so many different clothing pieces in my closet. I love patterned sheer ponchos and kimonos, they are so versatile! This Vero Moda floral one will join my Forever 21 kimono and fringe poncho, as some of my favourite layering pieces. And when I saw this striped dress at Winners, I immediately fell in love with the unique hemline. The dress's slit and peek-a-boo-back adds a cool sexiness to this look.

 

And because there is still two feet of snow on the ground, I wore my floral Doc Marten boots, but I will replace them with either some sexy gladiator sandals or cute heels when the weather permits. This is a great look that will easily transition to the warmer seasons, and all the pieces can easily be styled with other pieces from my closet!
