My Style: I Heart New York & Andy Warhol!

A few weeks ago I posted about the fabulous limited edition Converse Andy Warhol Collection. I finally picked up a pair of these limited edition shoes and I'm so excited to show them off!

Two of my greatest loves are shoes and art and when they come together, it's like it's my birthday and Christmas all rolled into one fabulous moment! I love my new converse shoes, although they don't provide much protection in snow and slush. Now more than ever, I'm counting down the days until Spring (19 more days)!

These shoes are such a fabulous statement piece and they can be styled with so many different fashion pieces: jeans, skirts, dresses, wild prints, or subtle colours - the style options are endless. For this look, I couldn't resist and stuck with the theme of New York City.

New York Fashion Week just ended and Andy Warhol is arguably one of New York's most famous artists. These Chuck Taylors look fabulous with my 'I love New York' souvenir t-shirt and Vero Moda pencil skirt, which I got on clearance at Hudson's Bay. I'm ready for a day of shopping, a visit to an art gallery, or just exploring the city, in this fun look.
