Makeup Review: Beautiful Brows from Benefit!

Benefit's Gimme Brow Volumizing Fiber Gel Review

Over the last few months, I have been reviewing and posting about some of the fabulous beauty products I received in my Spark Sessions swag bag. One of those fabulous products was Benefit's gimme Brow in light/medium, and I was dying to try it!

Beautifully arched eyebrows have been a beauty trend for many years, one that I have been trying to perfect for way too long. I can remember penciling in my eyebrows back in high school (not a good look for me) and years later I'm still hunting for a fabulous brow product that will help me achieve perfect eyebrows. With Benefit's gimme Brow, I came pretty close.

Gimme Brow is a brow-volumizing fibre gel that is supposed to "create brows where there were none before". It's supposed to build easily "for thick, lush arches, thanks to a tapered brush for blending, and precision tip for shaping". After using this amazing product for the last few months, my brows have turned into wows! The coloured gel is easy to apply, and can easily build to create a darker shade and more pronounced arch. It simply wipes off my skin if I make a mistake and lasts all day.

Like alot of new beauty products, there is a slight learning curve, where I use trial and error to create my desired brow. My two concerns is that it's not the most precise when I create my arch in my brow and when I build up my brows, the colour can sometimes look a little unnatural with blotchy and dark patches. I end up going over my brows with a eyebrow brush and shadow to even out the patches. I think I'm using the wrong shade and am adding way to much gel, especially since I have been colouring my hair darker lately. I would love to try the medium/deep shade.

Overall I'm quite impressed with Benefit's gimme Brow. Once I figured out my brow routine, I can achieve my 'wow brows' in less than two minutes. It's easy to use, and perfect for a brow beginner or if you slept in and don't have alot of time to apply makeup in the mornings. 

P.s!: Benefit gimme Brow is is compact and perfect to travel with. It's small enough to fit in my gym bag, and I love to use it after a work out, along with Benefit's Benetint on my lips.
