imPRESS Press-On Manicure by Broadway Nails Review
Just in time for New Years' Eve, I decided to add some Glitz and Glamour to my look with some fabulous nails from imPRESS Press-On Manicure from Braodway Nails. For my New Year's Eve look, I've already decide to add some glamour to my eye's with Revlon PhotoReady Eye Art, and I wanted to continue the sparkle look with my my nails. But the past and next few days are so hectic and busy with work and family, that I have no time to visit the salon. I wanted some glitzy nails for the big night, so I was super excited to try imPRESS Press-On Manicure nails, when they were sent to me for free, to try at home a few weeks ago.
I was a little skeptical about at-home artificial nails. The last ones I tried was over 12 years ago, and they were not easy to apply or take off, and looked really fake. But after trying imPRESS, my mind has changed.
The nails come in a super cute package that resembles a nail polish bottle that holds two of twelve different sizes (24 nails in total). I tried the limited edition Glitz & Glamour design, that is only available until the end of December. They were really easy to apply. After washing and drying my hands, I used the enclosed pre pad to cleanse each of my natural nails. I selected the size for each of my nails, and starting with the pinky, peeled off the backing of the adhesive strip of the imPRESS nails and pressed firmly to my natural nail. That's it! I was finished my beautiful manicure in less than 10 minutes! And to take them off, I just soaked my nails in nail polish remover for about a minute, and they peeled right off, with no damage to my natural nail. I am really impressed with imPRESS!
Although on closer inspection, there were places my natural nail can be seen, or the artificial nail doesn't exactly line up with my nails or cuticles, the end result is not bad at all. For about $10, imPRESS Press-On Manicures are perfect for a night out, like New Years Eve, especially when there is no time (or money) for a salon visit. They are available in a wide variety of colours and designs at several retail stores like Wal-Mart and Pharamsave.
P.s!: Even though the design I tried is only available for the holidays, imPRESS Press-On Manicures debuts beautiful and new designs throughout the year!
P.s,
Melanie!
