Vero Moda Dress from Hudson's Bay Outfit

I'm always on the lookout for a new twist on the classic little black dress. A few months ago I got a funky little black dress from Bench, but when I saw this sexy black Vero Moda dress at the Hudson's Bay Danish Design preview, I knew I must own it!

I know it's not quite 'little', but for someone my height, a little dress sometimes equals a long top. So I love the hem length of this Bree black Vero Moda dress. And because this dress is so form fitting, the hem length makes the silhouette feel more demure and retro.

This dress fits like a glove! The design and cut of this dress is very simple, but that just adds to its appeal. I also love the peek-a-boo hole in the back. I think one of the sexiest parts of a female body is the shape of her back, so any interesting detail or slit on the back of any clothing piece, is a bonus. The Bree dress is very versatile and any number of different shoes and accessories can be worn with it. I decided to pair my favourite chic wedge booties and a statement Shop For Jayu necklace and bright pink clutch, to add some pops of colour. Because it's machine washable and doesn't wrinkle easily, this dress is perfect to take on a winter getaway or wear out for an intimate dinner with someone special.
