Two Altuzarra for Target Dresses Styled
Two weeks ago I was lined up bleary eyed and tired, coffee in hand, with several other women at my local Target store to get my hands on Target's newest Designer collaboration Altuzarra for Target.I was lucky enough to get 4 pieces in my size, two of which are these fabulous dresses. Both are so different from each other but I love them both.
The first dress I bought was the Satin Dress, one of the pieces from the collection I really wanted. I love dark purple colour (of course) and the pretty orchid print on the skirt. The high snug waist gives the allusion of a smaller stomach (yeah!) and flatters the bustline. The hem length is also divine: short enough to show some leg, but long enough that I can bend over without showing my unmentionables! I feel so pretty in this dress and is perfect to wear a variety of occasions. I decided to add some funky style by wearing wedge booties, but I can easily style it with a pair of pumps or sandals. I also wore the beautiful locket my sister gave me as a thank you gift for being her Maid of Honour recently. Inside the locket is a picture of my sister and I with a personal note she wrote me. I love it!
The second dress is the Wrap Dress and it's so sexy. Since the material is snug fitting, the all over ruching hides the bits and bumps, which is fabulous. The belt creates the allusion of a smaller waist and the wrap skirt makes my legs look even longer! The cranberry colour is great for people like me who don't look great in bright reds, but still love the hue. This is a great evening dress and would travel well - it's machine washable!
The Details!: Outfit One: Altuzarra for Target Satin Dress / Expression Booties (Old) from Hudson's Bay / Locket from Etsy
Outfit Two: Altuzarra for Target Wrap Dress / Jessica Pumps (old) from Sears / Clutch (Old) from Aldo / Local Buttons Bracelet
Did you snag any of the Altuzarra for Target pieces? Which ones?
P.s!: There are still a few items left in store, at Target.com, and Net-A-Porter. And check back to soon to find out what other Altuzarra for Target pieces I bought and how I styled them!
P.s,
Melanie!
