Back in June, I shopped till I dropped at Lou Lou Magazine's Shops Series at the Toronto Eaton Centre. After getting some great deals and having lots of fun, I received a deluxe Swag Bag from Guest Services. Among some great beauty products and coupons, the swag bag contained a pair of Tweezerman Slant Tweezers. I always heard such good press about Tweezerman Tweezers, so I was excited to try them out.

Like most women, I have tried and tested out many tweezers and eyebrow tools since I was a teen. I got my first beauty manicure set from my Mom back in high school that not only contained the tools to help shape my eyebrows and nails, but some strange metal shaped contraptions, that to this day I still don't know what they're used for. 

The tweezers I have been using the last few years have been doing an O.K. job, but it was hard to grab the little hairs, and sometimes I pinched my skin and I had to really yank to pluck out the stray hairs, which stung. But with the Tweezerman Slant Tweezers, I found I didn't have this issue and they worked exceptionally well!

The thin slanted tip, made even the tiniest stray hair easy to pluck. They gripped firmly onto hairs, so they was no extreme pulling and was virtually painless. And best of all, not once did I not manage to pinch my skin trying to get the short hairs. The handles of the tweezers themselves were easy to hold onto and of course, the purple colour is fabulous! I can see why Tweezerman Slant Tweezers have received countless of beauty awards and recognitions! Tweezerman Slant Tweezers are now the eyebrow tweezers I will always be using and are available in most beauty and cosmetic departments and online, in a variety of colours and sizes.

P.s!: Tweezerman also sells a range of other tools for many other beauty concerns. Tweezeman also provides this tweezing tip: 'to ease tweezing take a hot shower or use a warm wash cloth to open pores [and] tweeze in the direction of hair growth to avoid breakage.' Will do!
