Hair Oil Treatment Review

Now that Summer is in full swing, the hot air outside and from my hairdryer is making my hair extremely frizzy. So for the past few months, I have been using Matrix Biolage Exquisite Oil Replenishing Treatment and have noticed an amazing difference in the look and feel of hair. I received Matrix Biolage Exquisite Oil in my Spark Sessions swag bag, but forgot about it for months. I came across it during my annual spring cleaning of my makeup and beauty cabinet and thought I would give it a try.

There are several ways to use this product: in the shower before shampooing, or during conditioning, while styling, or as an overnight treatment. I have tried all these ways and a few variations of them as well. Although I didn't notice much difference when I used it before shampooing, I love to add a few drops while conditioning my hair; I found my hair was smoother, shinier, and easier to style. It worked great with my L'Oreal EverPure conditioner. I also like to add it to my towel dried hair before I blow dry or use my straightener. Again, my hair was smoother and shinier. And this product works wonders as an overnight treatment! I colour treat my thick hair and notice that my ends get very dry and frizzy looking. After one night of applying Exquisite Oil, my hair looked healthy and smooth. It also didn't stain my pillowcases. In the morning, my hair was ready for the day without even styling it. Another way I use Exquisite Oil is when I'm rushed and don't have a lot of time to style or even wash my hair. I just simply add a few drops to my palms and run them through my hair, concentrating on the ends and my face framing pieces, and I'm ready to go! And my hair did not look or feel greasy! Just soft and smooth.

The scent is great - smells fresh and clean without being overbearing. The oil also lasts a long time. After a few months, I'm only 1/4 through the small bottle. Because I pump the oil, I can control how much I use. I find I use about 5 pumps when in the shower or when I'm applying it throughout my whole head of hair. I use about 2-3 pumps when adding it to the ends of my hair. Infused with Moringa, Macadamia, and Argan Oils, Exquisite Oil is Liquid Gold! It is available in salons and various online sources. One thing I noticed is that Exquisite Oil Replenishing treatment is sometimes called Protective Treatment. I don't know why.
