Skincare: Soft + Even Skin Tone with Pure + Simple Hydration Serum!

Skincare Serum Review

My skin has a strange mix of issues. Because of my age, I'm worried about the tiny lines that have been appearing on my face. I am also plagued with adult acne: large pimples that appear, stay for weeks, and can leave a scar. And I also suffer from some redness and blotchiness that appear on my cheeks, as well as frequent dry patches. I have been trying out different serums for a few years to help combat my wide range of skin issues. For the last several months, I have using Pure + Simple Hydration Serum that I received in my Spark Sessions Swag bag. I added this serum to my regular beauty routine, and I am glad I did.

I applied Pure + Simple Hydration Serum, after cleansing and before moisturizing, in the morning and before I went to bed. The serum was easy to apply and absorbed quickly, and had no scent. After a few weeks, I noticed my skin was softer and the skin tone was more even and less blotchy. Although I still got some redness, it was not as pronounced as before. I still got the odd large blemish, and was a little afraid to use this serum when they appeared, but I was pleasantly surprised that after continued use of the Pure + Simple serum, the blemishes didn't last very long, were not as red or pronounced, and they left no scar behind. My only issue is the watery consistency of the serum itself. It is very runny and sometimes ran down my fingers before I had a chance to apply the serum to my face, causing me to use more.

Pure + Simple Hydration Serum costs $44.95 and is available at Pure + Simple Spas and online. Even though the serum is a little pricey, it lasts a long time. I have been using mine for almost four months and there is still some left. Aloe Vera and Kelp are some of the natural plant-derived ingredients that make up this 100% Vegan and Nut Free Serum. Pure + Simple is also a Canadian Company with three Spa locations in the GTA.
