Summer Kate Moss Collection Dress from Top Shop

Heya! A few weeks ago, TOPSHOP introduced a new collaborative collection designed by supermodel Kate Moss. The collection consisted of clothing inspired by Moss's own closet. Fringe suede shorts, printed Kaftans, and party dresses are just some of the pieces that make up this cool, music festival inspired collection. I was lucky enough to get my hands on this very cute sundress that will look great in the summer, and transition well into cooler weather when paired with leggings.

Event: Toronto Opens Its Doors this Weekend!

If you haven't heard, this weekend is Doors Open Toronto; an annual event where different buildings, sites, and institutions, open their doors to the public to learn about them, their buildings, and some interesting facts about Toronto and its history. 

My Style: Unique + Chic LBD from Bench!

Heya! I recently wrote a Shopping Post about my trip to Toronto Premium Outlets (read that post here) and bought two Bench summer dresses, among other items, while there. My last Style Post was about the first Bench dress I bought (read that post here) and this post is about the second dress. I love the two different styles of each dress, but the unique details of this Bench little black dress (LBD), creates some unusual style.

Shopping: Unique Experience at Toronto Premium Outlets!

Heya! A few Saturdays ago, I visited Toronto Premium Outlets for the first time. I have always drove by while traveling on highway 401, but never stopped. A friend of mine asked me to go, and I was curious about the stores at Premium Outlets, so I decided to accompany her. It definitely was a unique shopping experience.

Last week, I had the opportunity to visit the three current CONTACT exhibitions at the Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art (MOCCA); Material Self: Performing The Other Within, In Character: Self Portrait of the Artist as Another, and Hereros by Jim Naughten.

I have been enjoying visiting the Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festival exhibits across Toronto. My next few Exhibit Posts will be about the many CONTACT exhibits I visit, that will hopefully help you chose which ones you might enjoy. You can read my last CONTACT Exhibit Post here. Last week, I visited the Gladstone Hotel to view the two CONTACT photography exhibits they have on display among their hotel rooms and offices. The difference between each exhibition was quite extreme and delightful.

If you haven't heard during the whole month of May, Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festival, the world's largest photography event is happening in Toronto. There are hundreds of events, exhibition and installations happening right across the city. Over the next few weeks, I will be visiting and posting about several of the CONTACT exhibits.

Style: High-Low Pretty!

Heya! I'm so excited the warm weather is finally here! It felt like it was never coming! And warm weather season means I can wear dresses without tights again! I love dresses and skirts; they are my summer wardrobe staple. I am not a short wearing gal, I only own one pair. So you can imagine how many dresses and skirts I own. Also, in anticipation of hot patio afternoons, I have bought so many dresses in the past several weeks that I think I have to do a closet purge soon! One of my new dresses is this fabulous Vero Moda dress, I bought at Hudson's Bay during their Bay Day Sale!

AGO Terror + Beauty Art Exhibition Review

Heya! Last week I visited the AGO's newest exhibit Francis Bacon and Henry Moore: Terror and Beauty and was in awe of how terrifyingly beautiful this exhibit was. I was emotionally drained after spending almost 2 hours among some of the most emotionally charged pieces of art I have ever seen. 

Event: Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festival Captures Toronto!

I am so excited for the month of May! Not only does this exciting month include the first long weekend of the warm weather (hopefully) months, and Doors Open Toronto (one of my favourite weekends in the city), but May also hosts Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festival, the world's largest photography event, that runs from May 1 - 31.

Beauty: Even Skin Tone With Bourjois Paris Healthy Mix Foundation!

Heya! A few weeks ago I visited the Shoppers Drugmart in The Toronto Eaton Centre, on a mission to find a new liquid foundation that offers good coverage without looking too 'cakey'. Over an hour later I walked out with Bourjois Paris Healthy Mix Serum Gel Foundation, and was very excited to test out my new find!
