Style: Flower Power From Sarah Stevenson + Target!

On March 23, Target stores across Canada launched a new line by Canadian designer Sarah Stevenson. This new clothing line was apart of Stevenson's Grand Prize for winning the Toronto Fashion Incubator's (TFI) New Labels Design Competition. I have always been a fan of Sarah Stevenson, and was thrilled to be a volunteer at last years New Labels show to see her win the coveted grand prize.

 Kown for creating her textiles by hand, as well as her use of floral patterns in her designs, the collection at Target continues with the same theme. The collection consists of 15 pieces including dresses, pants, and tops, priced for $60 or less. I was one of the lucky few that got my hands on a fabulous fully lined dress, from the Sarah Stevenson collection at Target.
 

 

I love this dress and there are so many options to style it! In this look, I continued the floral theme by wearing flower patterned tights, a flower bracelet, and a flower necklace. Other ways I could've styled this dress is by wearing a different belt, or wearing a chic pair of booties, or without tights. I have several events coming up in the next few months, and this dress will be perfect to wear to them.

P.s!: Target has collaborated with many designers over the years, like Phillip Lim, the Rodarte sisters, and Issac Mizarhi, just to name a few. Expect to see more designer lines to launch at Target stores in the future! And don't forget the 2014 TFI's New Labels Show and Competition is May 5th!
