Event: Enjoying TFI Guilty Pleasures At The Drake Hotel!

Heya! On February 1, I enjoyed indulging in some Guilty Pleasures of mine: decadent food and drink and spending money I shouldn't on beautiful things! I was taking apart of The Toronto Fashion Incubator's (TFI) annual Guilty Pleasures Designer Shopping Event. 

Now in it's tenth year, Guilty Pleasures is one of the  TFI's largest annual events that includes 2 floors of fashion deals from local designers, delicious food, and a silent auction with proceeds benefiting the the non profit TFI and it's many the community programs.

 

Event goers were treated to cake pops and mimosas while shopping and browsing vendors that included Shop For Jayu, Laura Seigel, and Sakina Jewellery, among others. There was also an informal fashion show, free mini manicures by Sekai Nail and Beauty Bar, and styling tips from La Closette.

I thoroughly enjoyed myself, it was a great way to spend a cold winter afternoon. I also walked away with some great pieces and learned about some new brands like Local Buttons, that will be featured in upcoming posts!
