I love this sweater! It has an open ripped back (for those who have been reading my blog, any piece that shows off a womans' back is fabulous!), so the layering options are endless. I can also layer different colours and pieces underneath or, in the warmer months, nothing at all! And it is comfortable!
To bring in a "Spring" feeling, I wore my flower statement necklace, I picked up at Suzy Shier a while back. For this look, I wore them with an old pair of skinny jeans from Bluenotes. But, I could've paired those pieces with just about any bottom from my closet. And to finish the look I wore my favourite pair of moccasins, I picked up at Sears a while ago, and my favourite large purse, that is big enough to hold my scarf and gloves.
The Details!: Fifty Street Sweater from M For Mendocino / Jeans from Bluenotes / Necklace from Suzy Shier / Tank from +Forever 21 / Zigi Soho Shoes from +Sears Canada / David Jones Bag from +Sears Canada
How are you staying warm this winter? I would love to know!
P.s!: This is a great weekend or a movie night outfit and it's so versatile. By changing some of the pieces (like swap jeans to skinny pants or shoes for heels or boots) you can change the whole look of the outfit. Just remember to keep the 3 main elements: statement accessories, colour, and a fashion forward knit, and you will always look stylish!
P.s,
Melanie!
