Style: Deep Blue Fringe!

Heya! Several weeks ago I went Shopping at Forever 21 and bought some amazing pieces at some fabulous prices! Not only was there a great sale on but there was an extra 50% off their clearance section. I couldn't resist some of the deals and bought a few funky fashion pieces to add some unique style to what was already in my closet. I picked up a chic striped faux fur coat, that I recently featured in a post: Grande Style: Coffee + (Faux Fur)!, and the fabulous faux fur collar featured in my last post of 2013: Retro Purple Haze!

I also bought this top and am in love with the deep blue colour and the fringe detail. This piece is very chic and versatile. I can wear it with a pair of leggings, like I did here, or more casual with a pair of jeans. Heels or pumps? Casual or dressy? Ready for a night of dancing or dinner and a movie? The options are endless with a piece like this. 

This top is actually a dress, but like most people my height, short dresses become trendy long tops, that can be worn with a pair skinny jeans or leggings. I paired this top with one of my favourite Shop For Jayu necklaces that resembles an angel's wing. 

For warmth, I wanted to stay trendy and chic, so I added a jacket in a modern cut, I picked up at Costa Blanca a few years ago. I could've matched a different layering piece to change the look instantly. For example, I would've added a suit jacket for work, or a cardigan for a more casual weekend look.

 

  
I wanted to add some patterns and other bright colours to offset the bright solid blue. So I wore a pair of Zohara leggings and my favourite patterned Zeyzani Boots, and carried my bright yellow vintage clutch.

And P.s!: Don't disregard a piece of clothing you love because it might be a little short. I've got a lot of "dresses" and "long" pants that I wear as tops and cropped pants. And they look fabulous!
