Style: Keeping It Mod With Yellow Butterflies!

Heya! Now that it's cold outside, and is going to stay that way for a while, I have to get creative on how I wear dresses and skirts in the winter. I want to stay warm and stylish, but don't want to look boring by wearing black tights all the time. That's why I am so happy I found this amazing online company called Zohara. They sell fabulous tights and leggings in  very cool colours, designs, and patterns. The tights are so comfortable and last a long time. I still have the first pair I bought! They are so chic and versatile. Perfect for a visit to the AGO or a night of cocktails with friends on King Street West. I first came across this company at one of my trips to The National Women's Show (to find out more about my visit to The National Women's show go here).  

I love the bright yellow colour of this pair, it makes any outfit pop and become show stopping. I also like how the butterfly pattern only goes up one leg. With the already bright colour of the tights, an "all over pattern", will look busy. It is also a little bit of a surprise or p.s! when I turn to show the other side of my legs.

I paired these tights with a comfortable knit shift dress in muted blocks of colours. I stuck with colour blocking for this look because of the strong yellow colour on the lower part of this outfit. I finished the look with a yellow clutch, a Shop For Jayu necklace, and platform heels from H&M. I felt a looked a little "modish" so I added some round sunglasses to complete my "modern mod" look.
