Style: Retro Purple Haze!

Heya! I was browsing in Joe Fresh recently and was pleasantly surprised with the cute dresses and skirts that are available, at amazing clearance prices. I fell in love with this dress as soon as I saw it. And when I tried it on, I knew I had to buy it, especially once I noticed it was on sale. The bodice fits perfectly, and I love the retro "feel" of the full skirt and cut of the dress. I also adore the pattern, and of course, the purple colour.

  

I always keep an eye out for unique and interesting pieces, especially when they are on sale. So when I saw this purple faux fur collar at Forever 21 a few months ago, I just had to buy it. It was only $5 and I knew I would find the perfect clothing piece to style with it, which I did with this dress. And the purple suede platform heels, which I bought at Sears, were also on clearance! 

To keep the retro "feel" of the collar, dress, and shoes, I added a feather hairband, which I picked up at winners last year. A sparkle purse I got as a gift, gloves, and tiny purple Swaroski earrings, finished off this look. I really love how this outfit came together, and it cost less than $120! Perfect for a night out to ring in the New Year!
