Heya! I can't believe Canada Day long weekend has come and gone! I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. As for me, I went up to Thunder Bay to visit my sister. Thunder Bay is a beautiful place and since my sister is quite an outdoors woman, she took me hiking. I wasn't quite sure how to dress for the woods, my wardrobe screams "hard core city dweller" and I don't even own a pair of running shoes! But being the fashion savvy gal that I am I came up with this:
It's all about layers! It can be quite cool in the early mornings or out of the sun. A zippered light jacket or sweater is perfect over a tank worn with a scarf (purple of course). I also wore a light loose skirt that is washable (gonna get dirty!) and you need fabulous shoes that will not be too hot and have treads! Like my pink mary jane Tevas'. All these items are from my own closet. Who knew my wardrobe can go from city to the woods so quickly!
And P.s!: You also need a small light backpack to keep your water bottle and snacks in while keeping hands free to climb and catch you if you fall!
P.s,
Melanie!
